Michael Grinley is an art director and designer currently living at the edge of the forest in western Massachusetts. He studied graphic design at Massachusetts College of Art and after getting his start at New England Monthly Magazine he went on to art direct 3 national magazines, Walking, FamilyPC and, most recently, FamilyFun. Mike has a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive, and highly crafted solutions combining a love of typography, photography, illustration and design principles.
Throughout his career , Mike has also studied photography and enjoys environmental portraiture, as well as the occasional odd and interesting landscape.
